The Combined Graduate Level (CGL) examination conducted by the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) is one of the most prestigious government job exams in India. The top half of your computer screen displays the original passage you need to type, while the bottom half contains an input box where you will type. To read the text further down, you must manually drag the scroll bar using your mouse cursor, as the mouse scroll wheel is disabled during the test. In the real exam environment, there is no text highlighting or auto-scrolling feature, so you must train your eyes to keep track of the lines without losing your place. In the initial stages, focus entirely on your accuracy rather than trying to type fast; speed will naturally build up over time. When practicing at home, never use a laptop's flat keyboard. Always connect a standard external keyboard, as it closely simulates the ones provided in the exam centers. It is extremely important to take daily mock tests on online typing platforms that replicate the exact SSC exam interface.
